Captain's Corner
Our main concern this time was the weather! Fortunately the
snow held off long enough for us to get over to The Abbey and back in one piece
(no we didn't travel by bishop or knight). With Nomads and Ecclesall neck and
neck
near the top of the division table, this match promised to be a good tussle. My
game quickly became very involved, so I became totally oblivious to what was
going on around me! As I battled on, the rest of the team lead us to a fine
victory. I finally drew, after a game of wildly swinging fortunes. Special
thanks to Phil for stepping in at short notice.
If anyone was following the general progress of the match or saw how the
games went, please let me know! Any games worthy of inclusion also
